I love wooden toys for my kids, that’s what I primarily get them. My 5 yr old is interested in bugs, which I was as well as a kid. So when I saw this wooden bug catcher set, I knew it was perfect for us. I used to catch all kinds of things, and I’d love to help my daughter do the same in a way that doesn’t harm the bugs - and of course release them after observing. It’s a great way to get outside and encourage exploration, learning about the environment and nature around us. It seems well made, and smooth wood. The magnifying glass is really cute, and actually works! I love that it has different bugs and leafs around it to help identify what you’re looking at.
Better than expected. Ordered again as 1st one was neat despite having broken bug scissors. Every piece quality wood & useful. Would be 5 stars but bug scissors came broken in both & specimen jar was missing when I recvd 2nd one. But still worth proce, but disappointing
Great item. This is a classic!!! You want regret this purchase. It’s like the ones you use to find everywhere made out of wood and not the cheap plastic version. Well worth the money and it comes with lots of extras
this for my 6-year-olds son's Easter basket, and I could not be happier with this purchase! He LOVES it, too. Now, you have to understand that we get multiple bug catching kits every year from the Dollar General/Dollar Tree and just never last.
